Welcome to 2025, Your Most Incredible Year Yet!
I took a much-needed break over the Holiday to enjoy life and put a pause on creating content and working on my business.
The lesson here is that it’s important to reflect on the past year and assess your progress.
If you don’t take the time to reflect, you may be on an endless loop of chasing results or repeating cycles.
The energy has shifted. Gone are the days of working yourself to the point of exhaustion and burnout.
It’s about knowing when to slow down, honouring yourself and your needs, and allowing the abundance to flow.
Since I could feel my energy wasn’t quite feeling the flow of content creation, I listened to my intuition, switched gears and leaned into something else that interested me.
I took a deep dive into the financial world and made some new investments, which have paid off so far.
I indulged in some sins of life, like eating too many sweets and having a few dirty gin martinis with blue cheese olives throughout the Holiday. I even allowed myself to stay up way longer than I have in years to enjoy the company of others.
But by the third week of allowing myself free rein of what some may think of as toxic pleasure, my mindset was shifting back to where I now feel the most stability: feeling good, motivated, and inspired, but mostly stepping back into my energy of producing content and living a life of health and wellness.
I’ve committed to no alcohol for January, and I’m going to try to continue throughout February and March.
Last year, I only drank 52 days out of 365, and 20 of those were more than a bottle of wine. I tracked my alcohol intake for an entire year on an app, and I was very proud of my commitment to continue to reduce my intake.
But honestly, there are times I still enjoy it, such as the Holidays.
You have to decide what works best for you when it comes to drinking. Still, suppose it’s affecting your relationships, finances, and personality. In that case, it may be time to take a long break and reflect on whether it’s something that you need to indulge in consistently.
I quite enjoy living the sober curious lifestyle. I love that I’ve broken the habit of continuous drinking. My life has improved in so many ways, and the benefits of not drinking far outweigh the destructive habits I left behind.
I’m setting the tone for 2025. How about you?
It may be our most incredible year yet!
